Deck Spotlight
(00:58:56)
A Giant Problem (3.6 AEC)
Cards: Giant, Miner, Guards, Mega Minion, Hunter, Prince, Poison, and Zap
Decksplanation: The punches that this deck packs is insane. The defensive capabilities of the Prince, Hunter, Mega minion, and Guards is incredible. The Hunter absolutely destroys anything that comes into it’s path. It’s good against AOE or single target troops. Mega minion is a fantastic DPS or tank killer. Also, the Prince is amazing for tank killing. The Guards held distract while your other cards defend and DPS threats down. Once you effectively defend your opponents push, your goal will be to throw down the Giant for an offensive counter push. Your best counter push will be Hunter, behind Prince, behind the Giant. Once that happens, you’ll want to wait and see what your opponent does – then use the Poison, Zap, or Miner – depending on what they do.
This deck will take a little bit of time to get used to; however, the key is to not play this deck offensively. If you do, you’ll find that you’re running short on damage, and also will be on your back foot. Play the deck defensively at first, develop the elixir advantage through the effective and efficient defensive troops that you have. Be sure to use your miner or your poison on the pump if your opponent has one. BUT if you use the miner on the pump, just know that you won’t have it for sniping your opponents musketeer, wizard, Ewiz, etc. But – if you need to use the miner on the pump that would be totally fine – just know that you will lack the immediate response to your opponents defensive troops (which is a little sacrifice to your offensive counter-pushes. Again – either works, but just know the limitations for each option. Boom!
